We’re happy to share that our ULALABS project has been featured in the newest edition of the ECIU University Magazine that brings together inspiring stories of research and innovation from 13 universities, showing how collaboration creates real impact beyond traditional education and research.

ULALABS embodies the ECIU vision by connecting universities, public administration, industry, and society to co-create solutions for real-world challenges.

‘The idea of ULALAB is creating a network of living labs and urban experimentation spaces such as testbeds, citylabs, and fablabs, and seeing how they fit together in various stages of ideation, experimentation, and specialisation. So far, four ECIU Universities are currently involved: Barcelona, Stavanger, Linköping, and Twente. This facilitates cross-continental collaboration on solving societal problems,’  Konstantinos Kourkoutas, ULALABS Coordinator and Coordinator CORE Sustainable and Smart Cities, Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, shared in the interview

We’re proud to see our work highlighted alongside other transformative projects and initiatives shaping the future of education and research.
