ABOUT
This training module is designed for ULALABS Learning Community members and external practitioners to introduce the Urban Belonging App and its integration within the Utopian Futures Workshop methodology for participatory urban analysis and co-creation. It includes a series of short explanatory videos and guided steps outlining how to design, facilitate, and interpret hybrid workshops that combine digital data collection with collective reflection and vision-making practices. Developed within the framework of the Distributed Learning Pilot, the module supports partners and local stakeholders in the four participating regions, Barcelona, Stavanger, Linköping/Norrköping, and Enschede, as they experiment with combining emerging digital tools and participatory design approaches. It responds to the shared challenge: How can collective experiential data and digital tools be meaningfully integrated into co-creative processes to foster more inclusive, place-based, and reflective urban futures?
